Please Note: For owners of GP1200 / GP1200R and XL 1200 / XLT1200 models - When ordering this item we highly recommend you measure the length of your current Driveshaft and Coupler (short) shaft. Over the years people have done repairs on these models and mixed and matched the newer and older driveshafts / coupler shafts as you can run both combinations. If you have an "early" style driveshaft - it MUST be paired with the "early" style coupler shaft. Same rule applies if you have the "late" model shafts. Both shafts must match the same era.
